Discover Whisky is a combination of two friends and ex-colleagues – Mike Briggs and Bill Marshall – who share a love of good food and good whisky. We both work in the internet industry and enjoy sharing our humble (and not so humble) views with a wider audience.

Mike’s tastes tend towards the smoother whiskies, with Speysides prominent, and he has a particular fondness for his local distillery, the now sadly dismantled Rosebank. He also has a sideline in exotic Rums.

Bill’s tastes are more West Coast – Scotland not California – with Talisker and Caol Ila his particular favourites. When not drinking those he can be found with white wines from New Zealand and Slovenia.
